December 22, 2006: December match scores posted: see scores page HERE. Here is Shotgun Sally’s description of the match: "The shoot went well despite the cold temps. It was chilly shooting but the sun came out and it warmed up nicely when it came time for lunch. The pot-luck went remarkably well considering we had to improvise ways to keep food warm. We had a great variety of food from Enchiladas and Fried Chicken to Tortilla Soup and Cowboy Stew to homemade chocolate cake and shortbread cookies. And we even had coffee and donuts for breakfast. It was wonderful!! The White Elephant party was a blast (ooops, no pun intended). There were all huge array of gifts from down-right useful to cute and Foo-Foo; let's see if I can remember....one of those rope bore cleaners for shotguns, a couple different kinds of ammo, a 'Dremel-style' tool kit, a nice pocket knife, shotgun shell Christmas lights, a cool T-shirt from Tombstone, AZ, candles, yard art, gourmet coffee kit, a toy rifle complete with darts, and scratch-off tickets, oh and a huge jumbo sized remote control (tooo funny!). There were more, but I can't remember them all. There were several items that were 'stolen' a bunch of times and I think everyone had a good time. I was glad everyone seemed to enjoy it all considering the temperatures that day."

December match will be a potluck lunch (we’re giving Reed Talon a break!), call Shotgun Sally at 512-694-6803 to sign up for a dish. We will also have a White Elephant gift exchange, strictly voluntary, limit $10 value (preferably non-gender-specific gift, or mark gift male/female). To make time for these activities we will only shoot 4 stages.
